Name: Celia Rose Durham
Age: 30
Title: Supervising Detective
Marital Status: Single, divorced
Background: Celia was born in Ohio in 1976. She grew up with both of her parents; Her father is an ex-CSI and her mother is a homemaker, and has a younger brother named John who is 28. She attended college in New York directly after high school and worked on majoring in DNA analysis while minoring in Forensic Psychology until 2001. She got her first job as a Forensic Psychologist soon after. On a particular case, she was supposed to analyze a young man at Angel of Mercy hospital. There, she met a man by the name of Christopher Rayner. They were married in 2004, but divorced within a year and a half, after she was offered the job to Supervise the NY team. Christopher said he just didn't want to compete with her career, but she has always felt on her own that the marriage wouldn't have lasted very long anyway. Now she lives in Manhattan, in an apartment complex with her cat, Slinker.
Personality: Durham is stern, but kind in all her actions. She doesn't handle funny-business, at least not at work. Her dedication is strong, and her sarcastic sense of humor is one of her most defining features. She's a softy for animals and loves to read, but she's got a wild side, too. Under the right circumstances and with the right people, she will party and go clubbing in her spare time. If she hadn't gotten into forensics, Celia would have liked to pursue a career in theatre and still holds the arts close to her.
Appearance: Her hair is long and brown, just past the shoulder and very straight. Freckles spatter her nose and cheeks, just adding to the look of innocence she seems to have. Her face is small and round, and her eyes are a faded hazel. She wears glasses, is not a fan of contact lenses, and is near blind without them. She doesn't stand terribly tall, just around 5'4" and is rather thin. She normally dresses very formally with pin-stripe slacks and nice dress blouses. During work, she keeps her hair up, but whenever she can, she leaves her hair down.
